These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. They will be updated on this page of the Deluxe Discos (www.deluxediscos.co.uk) website. You will receive a copy of the Terms and Conditions on completing a booking form and paying the deposit. Those Terms and Conditions are only valid for the event that you booked and new Terms and Conditions may be issued on changing your event or a new event.
This constitutes a standard binding contract between the client ("You") and the service provider ("Us"). This contract is produced and agreed by both parties so that the transaction is transparent and all parties know their duties and responsibilities. This contract must be agreed by the client in order for the event to proceed. The booking of an event is not confirmed if this contract is not agreed and signed (by digital signature or physical signature), therefore, it is in the interest of the client to do so promptly.

We always welcome suggestions of music to play at your event, however we always ask that any list be kept to a minimum (maximum of 20 songs as a guideline). If you require any specific musical requirements, we must receive this information at least 7 working days before your function date. This is to give us time to meet those requirements.
We carry £10,000,000 Public Liability Insurance for every event that we do. This is to ensure you have peace of mind and we are covered if you, any of your guests or we are injured due to the fault of our company at your event. Please be aware, this insurance does not cover you, your guests or us due to injury by anything not in Deluxe Discos' control and either the venue and/or the client will need the relevant insurance to cover this.
It is a legal requirement in the UK to have all portable electrical appliances that are over 1 year old to be tested every 12 months. All of our equipment is tested at least every 12 months to ensure the safety of our client, their guests and our staff. A copy of the test certificate can be provided on request by the client or the venue.
Once we receive your enquiry form, we will confirm our availability and if we are available, we will provide you with a quote.
When we have provided you with a quote, we will reserve this event in our calendar for 7 days.
If you choose to go ahead with the quote, there is a 20% deposit payable before the 7 days ends. We cannot guarantee your booking after the 7 days ends if you have not paid the deposit and signed the contract. Any balance paid, including the deposit, is not refundable should you wish to cancel. This is to protect the income of our DJ's and to cover their potential loss of earnings.
The remaining balance, must be paid by 2 weeks before your event. All of our DJ's are professionals who rely on your income, therefore to ensure job security for them, we require payment 2 weeks before the event starts.
We will endeavour to contact you before the 2 weeks, but if payment is not made in time, regrettably we will need to cancel the event and open the slot in our calendar for a last minute booking. Unfortunately, deposits are not refundable.
If you are having an issue with getting payment to us, please discuss this with us as we don't want to remove a confirmed booking from our calendar if it can be avoided.
We take many forms of payment to help our customers choose the best option for them.
If you would like to pay via PayPal, we have an automated online booking process that links to PayPal. When you receive the quote, you will be able to login and pay via PayPal. There is currently a surcharge of 2% for PayPal payments.
We use PayPal as our payment gateway. You do not need to have a PayPal account and you do not need to create one to pay via credit or debit card. We have an automated online booking process where you can pay via credit or debit card. When you receive the quote, you will be able to login and pay online. There is currently a surcharge of 2% for all card payments.
We also take Bank Transfers, Cash, Cheques and Postal Orders if you prefer.
Bank Details will be provided in an email should you wish to pay via this method. This is the preferred method as it is secure, cheaper for you and us and quick, so we can confirm your payment quicker.
Please do NOT send cash in the post. Please let us know you want to pay in cash and we can arrange a time to meet.
Cheques and Postal Orders are to be made out to "Deluxe Discos".
We need access to the function address at least 1 hour and 30 minutes prior to the event start time and at least 1 hour and 30 minutes after the event. This is to transport and assemble/disassemble all of the equipment.
Please be aware that you are required to inform us if the event is upstairs or downstairs. Extra cost may be incurred due to extra labour. If you do not inform us prior to the event, the DJ may refuse the do the event because extra man-power was needed and due to our health and safety policy. It is the customers responsibility to check with the venue if the event is upstairs or downstairs and notify us. We reserve the right to still charge the full amount for the event because this issue is out of the DJ's control. Please also note, extra time may be required to assemble/disassemble and you will be notified of this upon confirmation of your event.
We need a minimum of 8ft x 3ft x 7ft or 2.5m x 1m x 2m (W x D x H) area to setup the equipment (unless agreed otherwise).
The power source must be a maximum of 30 meters from the location of our equipment. We need at least 2 UK wall sockets of 230v with an available load of 3000w (13A) for each socket.
If you are using generators, there must be a constant supply of power. If the power fails and damages our equipment then the booking customer will be charged for the damage. If the power on the generator continues to fail, we reserve the right to cancel the event and the full payment will still be charged.
For outdoor events, the venue must have a covered area for the disco equipment to be setup. It cannot be 'exposed to elements'.
If you require the DJ to perform longer than the booked time, it is at the DJ's discretion. With your quote, you will be provided with an 'after hours' price. This is an hourly fee that is payable, cash in hand, at the time of asking the DJ to extend the hours. You can book extra slots of 1 hour (or 30 minutes at the DJ's discretion). It is your responsibility to confirm with the venue that they will allow an extension of the function end time.
If there are any damages incurred to the equipment or vehicles by anyone attending the function, the client will be billed for the full cost of damages.
